Today we present you another Agnblck collaborator!
Born in Japan, Tomomi Senda / tomoching is a multi-facets artist. She's an Art Director/ Decorator/ Web & GraphicDesigner and also works as “origamicrobic” making colorful origami jewelry and other objects. Based in Berlin since 2015, she has worked on different projects and exhibits (Lasdalias Ibiza for Nightmares On Wax , collaboration with contemporary dancers, movies...).
As a decorator, she is inspired by trash she finds in the city and everyday objects. She always pays tribute to her Japanese culture, and tries to connect her roots, with the Berlin culture she became a part of. Her work is always poetical, and her use of recycled materials is a subtle interrogation of our society, and how everything can be beautiful if we know how to look at it and care to preserve it.
She regularly holds origami workshops for Kids and adults and has a serie of workshops planned @ ACUD MACHT NEU this summer!
