8. Hundetag im Tierpark Berlin

10 AM - 6 PM


Dog day takes place in Tierpark Berlin and has become in recent years, the largest Info.Markt around dog.

Of course, all four-legged friends - as every day of the year - free admission. More than 100 exhibitors design the dog day and a colorful program with and for dogs is presented. Of course, the dogs can let off steam on run-off areas and on the dog track and dive into dog swimming pools. Dog breeds are presented, the work of breeders and clubs as well as initiatives presented. In addition, one can inform oneself about working with rescue dogs as well as therapy and assistance dogs and even train dogs in the animal park experience. Everything about the dog is offered - from food and accessories to offers for families with dogs, but also dog-dancing and dog massage. The zoo invites all dog lovers and the most faithful friend of man himself this weekend.




 

NYAM JAM | A Caribbean Ting

2 pm - 10 PM


NYAM JAM - It's a Caribbean ting! On Sunday 16th of June: a juicy afternoon and evening, celebrating Caribbean culture through food and music in Shishi's beautiful courtyard. Take a seat, enjoy delicious food served by local Berlin chefs. Dance your Sunday away to carefully selected sun drenched tunes.


 

Dabke Community Dancing with Medhat Aldaabal & Ali Hasan

5 PM - 7 PM


Anyone who is interested to share two hours of intensive dance and musical journey through the oriental culture of DABKE is again kindly invited to join! The workshop will be lead by Medhat Aldabaal (dance) and Ali Hasan (live percussion).

Come alone or with your family for this special Sunday program presented by Sasha Waltz & Guests and Radialsystem! Recommended for children of 10 years and older.

Lydia Lunch • Berlin • Urban Spree

Lydia Lunch is an American singer, poet, writer, actress and self-empowerment speaker. Her career was spawned by the New York New Wave scene.

Her work typically features provocative and confrontational Noise Music delivery, and has maintained an anti-commercial ethic,operating independently, outside of major labels and distributors.Her musical career began with the band Teenage Jesus and the Jerks on Brian Eno's anthology album, 1977, No New York, considered as the founding act of the no wave movement. A muse of the Underground and New Wave movement, she has also recorded with Sonic Youth and Nick Cave.She is also and icon of Underground Cinema and has participated in many films. Settled in Barcelona, ​​she continues to perform on stage especially in Europe.
