Mister Mishka is a visual artist currently based between Berlin and Norway, with a somewhat international background.Studying physics in school, being a former sniper in the military, and having previously worked as technical support specialist; he has had no formal training within the arts. All creative and technical aspects have been self-taught over the last decade, thus a unique artistic style and perspective emerged.
His deep passion for experimentation has lead him to discover a new art-form, where one manipulates light in conjunction with video feedback loops. Thus adding and subtracting light, within a space and time parameter, determines the unfolding of his visual pieces. Once the iterations are well-balanced, visual life is born by merely dancing with the light in front of the camera and then watching its own evolution play out on screen.
Currently working on several projects including artist collaboration, live visuals, VJ/DJ work, 3d animation / video content, and light-design for fashion photography; his main goal overall is to develop this new artform further, as a new medium for future artists to play around with and to re-invent.
Note that the video here below includes no post production effect (just the added soundtrack "Obassima" by Ata Kak), this is all done live, using Mister Mishka's process!
